SOULTIDE

The player wiki — everything you need to know, pulled straight from the live server.

Welcome to Soultide

Soultide is a custom RuneScape private server (RSPS) built on its own from-scratch content layer. This wiki documents what's actually running on the live server — the donator perks table and the weapon/armor stats browser below are pulled live from the same data files the game itself reads, so they never fall out of sync with what you'll see in-game.

What you'll find here

Three game modes

Normal, Ironman, and Ultimate Ironman at account creation — each with its own starter pack and its own rules.

Equipment with real teeth

Every wearable item carries combat bonuses plus its own Damage, Drop Rate, and Double Drop Rate bonuses that stack across your full loadout.

Grand Exchange

Trade with other players — place buy and sell offers that stay open across logouts and server restarts, and collect whenever they fill.

Runewords

Socket runes into equipment sockets in the right order to unlock one of 41 permanent effects, gated by your Runic skill level.

The Sunken Sanctum raid

Five bosses for 1 to 5 players, scaled to your party, with Tidal gear and unique powers to chase. See the Tides of the Deep tab.

Tidebreak Trials

Five waves on a flooding island and the Tide Titan, with three tiers of gear above Tidal. See the Tidebreak Trials tab.

Rifts

Random dungeons and timed Soulstone Rifts with Rift gear, 109 legendary powers, Rift Gems and the Soultide Cube. Rifting replaces Dungeoneering. See the Rifts tab.

Soulforge Guild

A relaxed skilling minigame: three random rooms a contract, Soulforge Shards and the Soulforged Overload. See the Soulforge Guild tab.

Aurelian Isle

The donator island: bonus-XP skilling in the Atrium and Aurex, the golden dragon, in five rank tiers. See the Aurelian Isle tab.

Collection Log

Track every unique you find, and claim a reward for every log you finish. See the Collection Log tab.

Controller

Play with an Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro or Steam Deck controller, with your own hotkeys. See the Controller tab.

Beastmastery

Bond with your boss pets for abilities, combat pets, evolutions and dual summon, and hatch coin pet eggs. See the Beastmastery tab.

Instance arenas & boss minigames

Private instanced fights against a 50-boss gauntlet, solo or duo, including Vorkath and Skotizo, some with donator-rank perks like bonus kills per instance.

Daily rewards & donator ranks

Claim once every day with ::dailyreward, and check the Donator Ranks tab for all ten donator ranks, their perks and the Daily Donator Chest.

Quick links

New to Soultide? The Getting Started tab walks through your very first steps, from installing the launcher to claiming your first daily reward.

Start here

Getting Started

Everything from your first download to your first daily reward — in order.

Phase 1 — Install & launch
  1. Download and run Waystone

Grab Waystone-Setup.exe and run it — Java is bundled in, nothing else to install. Waystone is our launcher: one small app that installs and updates Soultide (and our other worlds). It's not the game client itself — its job is keeping your client up to date. Already have the old Soultide launcher? It offers the update to Waystone by itself, and your install carries over.

  2. Pick Soultide, then Play

Choose Soultide from the world list and click Play. The first time, Waystone downloads the client before it starts; after that it only fetches what changed, then launches the game.

Phase 2 — Create your character
  1. Create an account

Type a new username and password on the login screen and hit Login — new accounts are created automatically on first login, no separate registration step.

  2. Remember your login (optional)

Every account you successfully log into is automatically remembered (up to 3 at a time). Click the Saved Accounts bar just below the password field to switch between them without retyping.

  3. Pick a game mode

New characters choose between Normal, Ironman, and Ultimate Ironman. Ironman modes restrict trading and looting from other players' kills (Ultimate Iron also locks you out of banks) — pick Normal if you're not sure. Each mode comes with its own starter pack: Normal includes a solid supply of potions, food, ammunition, a weapon, armor, and a healthy pile of starting gold; the Iron modes get a leaner, more self-sufficient kit built for playing without the Grand Exchange or trading. Each computer gets one Normal starter pack, and Ironmen always get theirs. New accounts can't trade, use the Grand Exchange or open loot boxes for their first 3 hours of play.

Phase 3 — Find your footing
  1. Get your bearings

Use ::home to return to the home area at any time, ::bank to reach a bank, and ::portals to reach the city teleport hub. ::commands prints a quick in-game reference of common commands.

  2. Claim your daily reward

Run ::dailyreward once every calendar day. It's a 28-day calendar with big chests every 7th day and a $25 Donator Bond on day 28, and missing a day never loses your place. Also try the launch codes with ::ref - see the Rewards & Codes tab.

  3. Check your gear's real numbers

Once you've got some equipment on, run ::bonuses to see your combined Damage, Drop Rate, and Double Drop Rate bonuses across everything you're wearing — see the Weapon & Armor Stats tab for what each individual item contributes.

Donator Ranks

All prices and amounts are in US dollars. The store, donator rank totals, Donation Deals tiers and the Gilded Maiden all count US dollars. If your checkout charges another currency, your purchase counts as its US-dollar value: C$25 is about US$18, so it won't reach a US$25 tier. The Donation Deals plugin shows a rough estimate in your own currency next to each amount.

Soultide has eleven donator ranks. Your rank comes from your total donated: every store purchase and every Donator Bond you redeem counts, and you move up automatically as soon as you pass the next threshold. Ranks only ever go up, and each rank includes everything below it.

The ranks

RankTotal donatedXPDrop rateDamageKey save chance
Donator$10+10%+2%+1%5%
Super Donator$50+20%+4%+2%7%
Extreme Donator$100+30%+6%+3%9%

Soultide Donator$10,000+100%+20%+10%25%
Sovereign Donator$15,000+125%+25%+12%30%

Damage raises your max hit with every combat style. Key save chance is your chance to keep the key when you open a Crystal chest or a Bounty chest.

Rank milestones

  • Uber and above: unlimited prayer (your prayer points never drain) and a server-wide announcement when you log in.
  • Celestial and above: a chance for gathered logs, ore and fish to come out noted: 10% at Celestial, 15% at Divine, 20% at Eternal, 25% at Soultide and 30% at Sovereign.
  • Eternal and Soultide: two drop-table rolls on every Instance Arena kill.
  • Sovereign: three Instance Arena drop rolls, and a 20% chance at an extra drop roll on every boss (combat level 250+).

Every donator gets

  • The Daily Donator Chest at home.
  • Free potion decanting, and no hammer needed to smith.
  • A rank icon next to your name in chat, yell and private messages, and a matching Discord role.

Daily Donator Chest

The treasure chest at home can be opened once per day by any donator (it resets at 00:00 UTC). The loot scales with your rank. Every opening gives coins (2M at Donator up to 70M at Sovereign), Crystal and Bounty keys, Vote Boxes, noted sharks, super restores and Saradomin brews, Sunken keys from Legendary up, and a free loot crate roll (a Dragon Hoard, or a Barrows Crypt Box from Eternal up). On top of that there's a chance at 2 Rift Mystery Boxes (1.5% a rank, up to 15%) and at Donator Bonds: $5 (5% a rank), $10 from Extreme, $25 from Mythic and $50 from Eternal, plus a small chance at a Gleaming Rift Box from Celestial. Right-click the chest and pick Show drops to see your rank's table.

Donation Deals

The Donation Deals plugin shows a random store deal every day, plus daily and weekly spend tiers. Every spend-$X deal and tier now pays at least $X in Donator Bonds - more for bigger spends (+10% from $50, +15% from $100, +20% from $250, +25% from $500) - with Rift Mystery Boxes on top (about 1 per $10), and Gleaming or Radiant Rift Boxes in the bigger tiers. Deals no longer pay Sunken keys. Every $100 spent server-wide fills the meter for the Gilded Maiden, whose rolls pay Rift boxes, a chance of a Gleaming box, and a $10 and a $5 bond every time.

Aurelian Isle

Every donator rank can visit Aurelian Isle (::isle): the Atrium for skilling with free tools and 5-25% bonus XP by rank (noted gathering from Legendary, noted and doubled from Divine), and the Treasury, where Aurex the golden dragon waits in five tiers - Donator, Legendary, Celestial, Soultide and Sovereign. See the Aurelian Isle guide.

Donator Bonds

Donator Bonds come in $5, $10, $25 and $50. Redeeming one adds that amount to your total donated, so it counts toward your rank, and gives the same Donation Points a real donation would. Bonds are tradeable, and free players can earn them from Wilderness Bounty Hunter targets (boss targets can give up to a $50 bond), the Bounty chest at home, rare Instance Arena drops (up to $50), world boss kills, the Boss Rush cache, the free Tide Season track, daily rewards (a $25 bond on day 28), Vote Boxes and the Voting Rewards Store, Recruit a Friend milestones and Discord giveaways.

Commands

  • ::donorranks shows every rank, its perks and how far you are from the next one.
  • ::store opens the donation store, and ::claim collects your purchases.

Halloween 2026

Halloween runs for the whole of October (server time, UTC). Every monster can drop a Halloween Mystery Box, the Haunted Crypt opens every two hours, and the Grim Reaper hunts small groups of players in between.

The Haunted Crypt

The crypt opens every 2 hours on the even UTC hours (00:00, 02:00, 04:00 and so on). A warning goes out in chat 5 minutes before. Type ::halloween to get there; between runs it tells you when it next opens.

  • Defend the raised coffin through 4 waves: the dead, then ghouls, then banshees, then tormented wraiths. Every kill pays coins on the spot.
  • Clear all 4 waves and the coffin gives way to the Grim Reaper.
  • The crypt is multi-combat, so everyone can fight the waves and the Reaper together.

Reaper's Gaze

Every 2 hours on the odd UTC hours, the Reaper secretly marks up to 5 online players with a whisper.

  • You have 5 minutes to type ::reaper. It takes you to his arena to wait. You'll get a reminder with a minute left.
  • When the time is up he arrives with 1,500 hitpoints for every player who answered: alone you face 1,500, five of you face 7,500.
  • If nobody answers, his gaze passes. If he isn't killed within 30 minutes, he leaves.

The Grim Reaper's loot

Everyone who damaged him gets their own loot, straight to the inventory (or the bank if it's full):

  • Always: a Halloween Mystery Box, 150K to 400K coins and 3 to 5 Spiders on sticks.
  • Bonus rolls: 1 in the Haunted Crypt, 2 in Reaper's Gaze.

Halloween Mystery Box

An orange and black box full of Halloween outfits, treats and supplies, with rare pulls including the Jack lantern mask, Grim reaper hood, Witch's cat, Scythe, h'ween masks, a $5 Donator Bond, the cosmetic scrolls below and a Scythe of vitur.

  • Where from: a rare drop from any monster in October (better odds from bosses), the Grim Reaper, every daily reward claim in October, the Tide Season, and staff events.
  • Boxes stack. Right-click a stack and pick Open-all to open them in one go.

Halloween cosmetics

  • Pumpkin Reaper title scroll: unlocks the orange Pumpkin Reaper title.
  • Hallowed Flame weapon skin: an animated orange and black skin for whatever weapon you wield, with embers running along it.

Both are tradeable. Clicking one unlocks it in the Wardrobe and wears it. If you already own it, the scroll isn't used up, so you can trade it on.

Treats

  • Spider on stick: food that heals 10.
  • Wrapped candy: stacks. Eat one for a sugar rush - every attack comes one game tick sooner (never faster than 2 ticks). Each candy adds a minute, up to 10 minutes. It shows in the Timers plugin and ends if you log out.

Recruit a Friend

Bring your friends to Soultide and you both get rewarded as they settle in - from Vote Boxes early on up to $25 Donator Bonds for both of you.

How to recruit

  1. Type ::recruit and enter your friend's username.
  2. Your friend gets a Yes/No prompt in-game and accepts.
  3. Track everything with ::recruits or the Recruit a Friend sidebar plugin.

Who can recruit whom

  • You need 5 hours of play. Your recruit must be a new account, under 3 hours played.
  • Up to 5 recruits each, and an account can only ever be recruited once.
  • Both accounts must be linked to Discord, to different Discord accounts that are at least 30 days old.
  • Your recruit can't be your own second account: recruits that share a computer with another account, or an internet connection with you, are refused. Links that look suspicious later are frozen for staff to check instead of paying out.

Events

Something is always about to happen on Soultide. The Timers plugin shows how long any running event or boost has left.

The daily event

Every day at 12:00 UTC a poll goes up in #events on Discord. Linked players vote until 19:00 UTC, and the winner runs from 20:00 to 21:00 UTC: a Double XP hour, a Double Drops hour, a world boss or 25% off loot boxes. Grab the Events role in #roles to be pinged.

Mystery Boxes & Loot Boxes

Soultide has two kinds of box: mystery boxes, items you get and open, and loot crates, bought with coins from the Loot Boxes plugin. There are also two key chests at home.

Mystery boxes

All mystery boxes stack in your inventory. Click Open for one, or right-click and pick Open-all to open up to 500 at once. It stops early if your inventory fills, and sums everything up in chat.

Rift Mystery Box

  • Every crate has a cap on how much a single prize can be worth, so the cheap crates can't pay out top-tier gear.

Tides of the Deep

Soultide's first raid and its achievements, the Tidal gear it drops, a new home for every world boss, and a rework of how ranged and magic work. Here's everything that changed and how to get the most out of it.

The Sunken Sanctum

A boss trial for 1 to 5 players across six chambers on islands in a drowned temple. Type ::raid or open the Raids plugin to make a party, invite friends by name, and start. Everyone must be next to the leader and out of combat. Clear a chamber and a Tidal portal rises; click it to move the whole party on.

StageBossHow to beat it
Chamber 1Coral GuardiansA Pink and a Blue guardian. If one falls, the other revives it after a minute, so right-click attack whichever is higher, bring both low and finish them together.
Chamber 2Tidebound ShamansThree casters that heal each other while standing close. Drag one away and kill them one at a time. Pray Magic.
Rest stopTidepool GrottoArriving restores half your life points and prayer. Drink from the fountain to fill both.
Chamber 3Frostdeep WardenImmune while frozen. Light all four braziers to crack the ice, then burst it down in the 30 seconds before it refreezes.
Chamber 4Tide TriadRex (melee), Prime (magic) and Supreme (ranged) take full damage only from their own floor wedge: red for Rex, blue for Prime, green for Supreme.
Final bossThalassor, the Drowned TideSwitch prayers as he alternates ranged and magic. Step off splashing tiles within 3 seconds. When he shouts THE DEEP RISES!, put a gold pillar between you and his pool.
  • Safe deaths. Dying sends you back to the start of the current chamber with all your items.
  • Scaled to your party. Bosses are sized to each member's max hit, so newer players face bosses sized to them, and stronger gear clears faster. Bigger parties clear faster too.
  • Learner's tide. While your max hit is under 35, raid enemies hit you 15% softer.
  • Boss guide. The Raids plugin has a dropdown with how to beat each chamber. Inside the raid it jumps to the chamber you're in.
  • Rewards. Beating Thalassor gives everyone 10 to 15 Sunken keys. Open them at the Sanctum chest at home.
  • Run it again. A portal rises in Thalassor's lair when he falls. Click it to restart the raid or leave.

Race the clock

After every boss, and at the end of the raid, everyone in the party sees their time against their personal best. Personal bests are kept separately for solo runs, duos, trios and parties of 4 and 5.

The Sanctum scoreboard at home shows the fastest full clears for each party size, and the fastest kills of every boss, solo and by party size, with the players' names. Make the board and you're told your place.

Tidal gear and unique powers

The Sanctum chest is the home of 12 pieces of Tidal gear: helm, platebody, platelegs, gloves, boots, cape, amulet, ring, ward, sword, bow and staff. Every Sunken key also pays 200K to 300K coins, and can roll keys, bonds and the Tidal glow scroll.

Per Sunken keyChance

Each Tidal armour piece1 in 900
Each Tidal weapon1 in 1,000
Tidal glow scroll (unlocks the Tidal armour glow cosmetic)1 in 250
A unique power on a dropped piece1 in 4

A piece with a unique power shows its name in seafoam with the power after it, like Tidal helm (Undertow). You can have up to 3 armour powers active at once, plus your weapon's.

Powered pieces also glow seafoam in your inventory, bank and equipment screen, outlined so even the dark helm and body stand out. Hover one to see what its power does.

Weapon powers

Each weapon has its own power. Every 6th hit with its style unleashes a flurry of 3 extra strikes, one every 2 ticks, rising from a normal hit up to +50%. The strikes land as seafoam hitsplats.

Abyssal Pressure+1% damage for every 5% of HP your target is missing, up to +20%.
Brine WardWith a protection prayer on, take 15% less damage from the other two styles.
MoonpullOnce every 60 ticks, a special attack costs no energy.
Undertow+10% damage against bosses.
Tide TurnerDropping below 25% HP heals you for 20% of your max HP. 2-minute cooldown.
Leviathan's HungerEvery kill heals you for 10% of your max HP.
Sunken Signet+5 Sunken keys per raid clear, and a 5% chance of a second drop roll on boss kills.
  • Bank stacking. Copies of the same piece with the same power stack in one bank slot. Every copy you withdraw keeps its power.
  • Socketable. Every Tidal piece takes Runic chisel sockets and Runewords. Its unique power survives losing its sockets.
  • Untradeable. Tidal gear with a unique power can't be traded.
  • Best In Slot Box. 1 in 1,000 boxes now holds a Tidal piece, which can roll a power too.

Raid achievements

22 new achievements for the Sunken Sanctum, in the Quest/Achievement Web with the normal coin rewards for their difficulty. They count toward your Soul Points like every other achievement.

ExtrasUnlock the Tidal armour glow, and bind a Tidal cape into a skill cape

Keep your skill cape best in slot

Use a Tidal cape on any level 99 or 120 skill cape (plain, trimmed or master), or on a Max, Completionist or Veteran cape. The skill cape takes the better of each stat from the two capes, and the Tidal cape's unique power if it has one. The Tidal cape is used up, and your skill cape keeps its own perks and emote.

A bound cape looks like the Tidal cape, both on you and in your inventory and bank, and its name shows what's underneath, like Tidal cape (Max) or Tidal cape (Attack).

Changed your mind? Use a different Tidal cape on your bound skill cape. You get the old Tidal cape back, power included, and the skill cape takes on the new one.

Want it on a different skill cape? Use that skill cape on your bound one. The Tidal cape and its power move across, and the cape it left becomes a normal skill cape again. Two bound capes swap their Tidal capes.

The World Boss Arena

Every world boss now rises in its own arena: a volcanic ruin on a lava sea. That includes the Corrupted Nechryarch, which spawns every 45 minutes with a 5-minute warning, and the bosses from Discord votes, staff events and community boosts.

::wbCtrl + W::event::worldboss

  • ::wb or Ctrl + W takes you to the arena entrance at any time.
  • ::event during a fight drops you at the arena's south gate. ::worldboss shows when the next Nechryarch rises.
  • The arena is multi-combat. If you die there, you respawn at the south gate and still get your reward when the boss falls.
  • Right-click the live world boss and pick Show drops to see its reward table.

Everyone who does at least 2% of the boss's health gets 5M to 10M coins, 10 PvM Points and one roll on this table:

Ranged, magic and the accessory slot

  • No more ammo. Ranged weapons fire the best ammo your level allows, and nothing is used up. The blowpipe needs nothing either.
  • Free combat spells. Combat spells cost no runes. Utility spells such as teleports and alchemy still do.
  • The accessory slot. The old ammo slot now holds one damage accessory: rune talismans for magic, sigils for melee, quivers and Ava's devices for ranged. Each gives +1% up to +15% damage, shown in its name, like Rune sigil (+8%).
  • The Accessory merchant at home sells all three lines. Right-click him and pick Trade to choose the melee, ranged or magic store.

Daily Donator Chest

The chest at home now pays out properly every day, scaling with your donator rank. Anything that doesn't fit goes to your bank.

Higher ranks also get noted supplies and, from rank 7 up, a small chance of a Best In Slot Box. Right-click the chest and pick Show drops to see your own rank's table.

The store

  • PayPal is available. Card payments through Stripe still aren't working properly, so please use PayPal for now.
  • 3 new Sunken key bundles: 5 keys for $5, 15 keys for $15 and 30 keys for $25. Keys go to your inventory (they stack) or your bank.

Quality-of-life changes

Combat and monsters

  • Monsters wait for you. Monsters in the open world no longer attack on sight. Minigames work as before.
  • Instance Arena. Bosses wait until you attack, the boss list is sorted by combat level, and Venenatis has joined the list.
  • Show drops. Right-click any monster you can attack, or the Crystal, Bounty, Sanctum and Daily Donator chests, to see their drop tables with real odds.
  • Slayer instances. Monsters killed by the area splash now give combat XP too.
  • Accessories. Each accessory shows its damage bonus in its name, and the equipment screen shows your total accessory bonus.

Pets and Beastmastery

  • Constellation level stars count toward Beastmastery unlocks, so 85 trained plus 5 from stars opens level 90.
  • ::toggleforage stops your pets from foraging.
  • The Tidewyrm's tide gift can now be a Vote Box (1 in 10) instead of a Voting Point.

Chat and social

  • @mentions. Type @name in public chat, clan chat or yell and that player gets a pop-up, plus a Windows notification if their game isn't in focus.
  • Your ignore list now hides yells from players you ignore.
  • Community Managers show their own tag in yell.

Items and interface

  • Ctrl + hover for stats. Hold Ctrl over any item to see its stats. Each one is green if it beats what you're wearing in that slot, red if it's worse, and white if it's the same.
  • Hover boxes stay fully on screen, including over the inventory in fixed mode and at the bank's right-hand edge.
  • Mining instructor. Talk to him at home to choose his Mining store or the Stardust shop.

Raids, voting and more

  • The Raids plugin has a boss guide for every chamber, and lists the Tidal powers you're wearing, active ones first.
  • Each vote can be claimed as soon as it comes in, with no 12-hour wait between claims.
  • After 30 minutes without a click you're moved to the AFK zone.
  • The loot crate discount hour applies from the Iron Coffer up.
  • The Tidal armour glow cosmetic now matches Thalassor's colours.
  • The chat bar's website button is labelled Website and opens soultidersps.com.

Bug fixes

Sunken Sanctum

  • The Tidal portal between chambers is a normal click portal again, so it no longer misses clicks.
  • Melee can reach Thalassor from the edge of his pool.
  • Standing right next to Thalassor no longer dodges his surge.
  • Splashing tiles give you 3 seconds to step off, up from under 2.
  • Coral Guardians revive after 1 minute, and the Frostdeep Warden stays vulnerable for 30 seconds.
  • Tidal weapon powers can't hit the Frostdeep Warden through its ice.
  • Restarting a raid no longer spawns the previous chamber's bosses or lets Thalassor's attacks carry over.
  • Boss health follows the players still in the raid when someone leaves.

Bosses and instances

  • Instance Arena instances no longer end up with several different bosses at once.
  • K'ril Tsutsaroth kills count for pet tasks.
  • Pet task instances can't be farmed by dismissing or picking up your pet.

Skills and items

  • Make X on dragonhide bodies and chaps makes the item you picked, not vambraces.
  • Torva bars can be smithed into Torva gear at an anvil, like Bandos bars.
  • Special-bar gear (Dragon, Barrows, Armadyl, Bandos, Third-age and Torva) smiths from the right bars even if you carry more than one kind, instead of refusing with a "cheating software" message.
  • Super antipoison lasts 6 minutes.
  • Kuradel's barbarian spirit task counts both Angry and Enraged spirits.
  • Mystic lava staves, Lava battlestaves and Dragon 2h swords can be withdrawn as notes.
  • The Serpentine helm, Fire cape and every Ava's device can take sockets.
  • Loot crates no longer roll items that show as "null", or items that are meant to be untradeable.
  • Shops restock items that sold out. Before, a sold-out item could leave a blank slot, as the Crystal and Bounty keys did in the AFK shop.
  • Every Halloween scythe reward is the same Scythe. The Bounty key chest and the Holy Waters shop handed out a duplicate copy.

World and NPCs

  • The Slayer Tower doors can be walked through.
  • Nomad is named Nomad again.
  • The Skotizo pet's head no longer twists when it moves.
  • Pets in your second slot no longer attack you.

Interface and plugins

  • The Ctrl + hover stats box shows the item's stats again. It had been showing only the name.
  • Soul Constellation loadouts load properly.
  • The plugin scroll wheel keeps scrolling instead of stopping after one step.
  • Plugin panels keep their scroll position when you take a hit, instead of jumping back to the top.
  • Dungeoneering: commands can't pull you out of a run by accident; leave by abandoning the run.

Quick facts

  • Raid: ::raid or the Raids plugin, 1-5 players, 5 bosses
  • Rewards: 10-15 Sunken keys per clear, opened at the Sanctum chest at home
  • Tidal gear: 12 pieces, 1 in 4 roll a unique power
  • Skill capes: bind a Tidal cape into any 99, Max, Completionist or Veteran cape
  • World bosses: ::wb or Ctrl + W; Nechryarch every 45 minutes
  • Combat: no ammo, free combat spells, damage accessories in the old ammo slot

Boss Rush

Boss Rush is an endless roguelike gauntlet: fight floor after floor of monsters and bosses, get stronger as you go, and cash out before it gets you. Clear floor 110 for the Golden party hat, then keep going as deep as you can.

Getting in

  • Type ::rush or open the Boss Rush plugin.
  • Go solo or in a party of up to 3 (make the party in the Instances plugin).
  • Entry is 25M coins per player.
  • Your own gear and inventory are banked and come straight back when you leave. Coins stay on you for rerolls. No pets or familiars.
  • Disconnected? You have 3 minutes to log back in and carry on from the same floor with everything you had.
  • Server restart? Your run is kept. Log back in within 20 minutes and you're back on the same floor with everything you had. A floor you were fighting starts again.

Run modes

The party leader picks a mode in the Boss Rush plugin or with ::rush mode. Each mode has its own leaderboard.

  • Normal: pick 1 of 3 cards after every floor.
  • Nightmare: every card is a curse, but some curses carry a Forge, rainbow gear or an accessory. Gear from a curse is put on at once, at any level.
  • Fatebound: every card is face down - you only see its rarity.
  • Dealer's Choice: no choosing - you're given a random card after every floor.
  • Burden: start in full Leviathan gear with the Tide Titan's ring, amulet and jewel, but hold only 10 cards all run.

Kits and rush levels

  • Pick Melee, Ranged, Magic or Hybrid. You start in tier-0 gear; Forge cards take it through Torva, Pernix and Virtus up to tier 9, the Tidal set (no powers).
  • Rainbow cards go further: Tidal with a power, then Leviathan, the end game (each worn Leviathan armour piece adds +10% damage in the rush, up to 3, and the full set its usual bonus). The amulet and ring end at the Heart of the Titan and Tidecrash Band; accessories end at your style's Titan jewel (+20%).
  • Your combat skills become rush levels: they start at 1 and climb from kills. Your real levels and XP are untouched.
  • Prayers and curses are unlocked by cards and work at any Prayer level.
  • Switch off the level-up chat messages in the Boss Rush window or with ::rush levelmsgs off.

Cards

After every floor you pick 1 of 3 cards. You have 1 minute; reroll an offer (1M, doubling) or banish a card family for the run (2M, doubling).

VampiricYou heal 25% of the damage you deal.
ThornedEvery hit a foe lands on you costs it 1% of its max life.
EnragedYou hit 50% harder below half life.
ShieldedYou take 40% less damage while above 75% life.

HastedYou attack a tick faster.
BlindingFoes miss you 20% of the time.

Floors and modifiers

  • Normal floors are packs of monsters. Every 5th floor is a Soultide boss, every 10th an elder boss.
  • Bosses get tougher every floor, more gently after floor 50.
  • From floor 10, a new modifier joins every 10 floors for the rest of the run.
ModifierEffect

VampiricFoes heal 25% of the damage they deal.
SplittingPack monsters split into a weaker copy when they die.
EnragedFoes hit 50% harder below half life.

DrainingYou lose 2% of your max prayer every 3 seconds (new, replaces Regenerating).

Rest stops, cashing out and dying

  • Every 5 floors you reach a rest stop: healed and restocked. Cash out to keep what you've earned, or carry on (the run goes on by itself after 5 minutes).
  • Checkpoints every 25 floors save the Rush marks you hold. If the run is lost later, you still get half of them. The leader can pause the rest stop after a checkpoint for up to 30 minutes (::rush pause, the rest menu or the plugin), then the run carries on by itself.
  • There's no AFK timer during a run. You have 5 minutes to pick each card.
  • Rush marks and loot are at risk until you cash out. Dying loses what you earned since your last cash-out.
  • Boss floors add loot rolls to your Rush cache: coins, crystal and bounty keys, Sunken keys and Donator Bonds.
  • Floor 110: the Golden party hat, once per account. Set as your head look it doubles your damage and counts as the helm of any Boss Rush set.

The Rush Mark Shop

  • Sets: Riftborn (melee), Galewind (ranged), Astral (magic), 8 pieces each. 4 pieces: +10% damage. Full set: +10% damage, 5% crit and a triple-damage hit every 8th hit.
  • Tribrid: forge a piece from the same piece of all three sets; it doubles every bonus.
  • Sets work as looks through the Cosmetic Overrides plugin. Also pet looks, titles and run perks.

Also in the Rush Mark Shop: one-use supplies, each used up when your next run starts.

#boss-rush-leaderboard on Discord shows this week's deepest floors, overall, per kit and for duos and trios. It resets every Monday 00:00 UTC and the winners are posted there.

Quick facts

  • Golden party hat: clear floor 110
  • Rest stops: every 5 floors, 5 minutes each

Boss Rush Online

Boss Rush you can play anywhere - your phone, your browser, or right inside Discord. Same cards, bosses and Rush marks as the in-game rush, built for short turn-based sessions.

Where to play

  • Website: https://soultidersps.com/rush - add it to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app.
  • Discord: type /rush play, or open the App Launcher (rocket icon) in any channel and pick Soultide.
  • Signing in: use your game username + password. In Discord you're signed in automatically if your account is linked (::link in game, then /link in Discord).
  • Your password is only checked by the game server - the page keeps a 30-day sign-in token, never the password.
  • Your run saves after every turn. Close the app mid-floor and pick it up later, on any device.

How a turn works

Every foe shows its next move: a normal attack, a heavy hit, a barrage of all three styles, or a heal. You answer with one action:

  • Attack (tap a foe to target it) or Special (costs 50% energy, hits harder and more accurately)
  • Eat (heals 25% of your life) or Drink (restores prayer)
  • Defend - take half damage this turn. Use it when a Volatile foe is about to explode.
  • Prayers are free to switch before your action: protect from the style that's coming, and turn on your boost. They drain a little every turn.
  • Hybrid picks its style (melee, ranged or magic) each turn.

Runs

  • Boss Rush: 50 floors. Packs of monsters, a Soultide boss every 5th floor, an Elder boss every 10th, and a new floor modifier every 10 floors.
  • Rest stop after every boss: full life, prayer and supplies, and your marks are safe. Go on, or cash out.
  • Fall and you lose only the marks earned since your last rest stop.
  • Daily Rush: 15 floors, the same floors for everyone that day and much harsher - one try a day (resets 00:00 UTC). Ranked by floor, then fewest turns.

Cards & gear

After every floor you take 1 of 3 cards - the same boons, curses, Forges, Training, prayer unlocks, accessories and wild cards as in game.

  • Reroll, Banish and Restore cost run gold, earned every floor.
  • Gear ladder: Forges climb your kit to tier 9 - the Tidal set. Rainbow cards then give Tidal with a power, then Leviathan - the end game. Full Leviathan armour also gives +6% damage and +20% life.
  • A few wild cards that need parties or in-game loot (Jackpot, Rally, Lifelink, etc.) aren't in the online version.

Rewards

  • Every run pays 50% of its Rush marks as real Rush marks, and 50% of the milestone-boss loot rolls the in-game rush gives: coins, Sunken / crystal / bounty keys and Donator Bonds.
  • No weekly limit. Coins go to your money pouch, items to your inventory or bank - at your next login if you're offline.

Free runs & Rush tickets

  • 1 free Boss Rush every day (resets 00:00 UTC). The Daily Rush is always free.
  • Extra runs use a Rush ticket: buy them in game with ::rush tickets <amount> (10M each, hold up to 20), or from the Boss Rush plugin's Rush tickets card.
  • Logged in to the game? An extra run can take the 10M straight from your coins instead.

Leaderboards

  • In the lobby: this week, all time, today's Daily and yesterday's top 3.
  • /rush board in Discord shows them too, and Daily Rush winners are posted in #boss-rush-leaderboard every day.

Tips

  • Watch the Next: line on each foe - switch your protection prayer to the style of a heavy hit before it lands.
  • Unlock protection prayers early (Protect from Melee / Missiles / Magic) - they block normal hits completely.
  • Eat before a heavy hit, not after.
  • In packs, kill the weakest foe first - fewer foes, less damage every turn.
  • Cash out at a rest stop if your run is shaky - banked marks are safe forever.

Tidebreak Trials

Tidebreak Trials is a wave minigame on a small island in a rising sea. Fight through 5 waves while the tide floods in, beat the Tide Titan, and earn the only gear in Soultide that beats Tidal.

Getting in

  • Type ::trials, or open the Instances plugin (it replaced the Raids plugin) and go to Minigames.
  • Go solo or in a party of up to 4. Make the party in the Instances plugin, the same way as for the Sunken Sanctum.
  • Monster health scales with your party, and only a little with your gear's max hit, so better gear clears waves faster.
  • The ::trials menu can restart the run from wave 1 at any time. After the Titan falls, everyone gets the same choice, or goes home after a minute.

The waves

WaveWhat you face
1Brine crabs and Stormspawn
2Adds Drowned callers
3A Tidecaller, rooted in the sea at the island's edge. It calls a Brine crab and a Drowned caller every so often.
4The Elder Tidecaller, bigger and nastier, calling two pairs at a time. Tides come faster from here on.
5The Tide Titan (see below)

When a Tidecaller or the Elder rises you're told where (e.g. "An Elder Tidecaller has been spotted in the North!"), a hint arrow points at it, and the Instances plugin shows it too.

The tide

  • About once a minute (faster from wave 4) the sea floods the island. You get a few seconds' warning as the water creeps in from the edge.
  • Anyone caught in the flood loses 4% of their max life every 2 ticks, gets their prayer drained, and has their prayers switched off. Get onto the dry dais in the middle.
  • When the water drains there's a short ebb: +25% damage for everyone. Use it.
  • Enemies hit 10% harder with each wave.

The Tide Titan

  • Every 7th attack is a telegraphed DROWN slam: marked tiles, and 3 seconds to step off them.
  • Below 66% he calls up Stormspawn, up to 6 at a time.
  • At 33% the tide turns: the Stormspawn wash away and he dives. 10 water orbs drift towards the middle, and each one that reaches him heals him 3%. Smash them. He rises again once they're all gone.
  • After that the tide floods the dais instead of the rim, so the safe spot moves.

Rewards

  • Tidebreak tokens for every wave: 5 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 24, plus 15 for a run where nobody dies.
  • Tidecaller gear: a chance on clearing waves 3, 4 and 5 (1 in 80, 60 and 30).
  • Leviathan gear: 1 in 20 per Titan kill, and a piece is guaranteed after 40 kills without one.
  • Titan jewellery (per player, per Titan kill): Tidecrash Band, Heart of the Titan and each jewel 1 in 30.
  • The Titan's haul for everyone on a full clear: 500K-1.5M coins always (to your money pouch), plus separate chances at bonus coins (5-15M at 1 in 8, up to 500M-1B at 1 in 2,000), 3-6 Sunken keys (1 in 2), 15-30 extra tokens (1 in 4) and Donator Bonds: $5 (from 1 in 50), $10 (from 1 in 100), $25 (from 1 in 500) and $50 (from 1 in 1,500), in stacks of up to 6.
  • Titles: Tidebreaker for a clear, Leviathan Slayer for a clear where nobody dies.
  • Right-click a Tidecaller, the Elder Tidecaller or the Titan and pick Show drops, or open the Drops card in the Instances plugin.

The gear

Three tiers, all above Tidal: Tidebreak, Tidecaller and Leviathan. Each tier has a helm, platebody, platelegs, gloves, boots, cape and shield, and six weapons.

  • Two-handers: halberd, staff and bow, for the most damage. Bows take a shield.
  • One-handers: blade (4 ticks, longsword styles: Chop, Slash, Lunge and Block), sceptre and crossbow. Faster, with a bit less damage, and they leave room for the shield.
  • Leviathan shield: also adds attack and damage for every style, melee, ranged and magic alike.
  • Full armour set of one tier: +2% / +4% / +6% damage. Full Tidecaller armour also takes 10% less flood damage.
  • Max life: every armour piece adds life. A full set gives +100 / +150 / +200.
  • All 39 pieces take sockets, and Trials drops can roll them.
  • Use the Gear plugin (::gearstats) to compare every piece and set side by side.

Quick facts

  • Start: ::trials or the Instances plugin, solo or up to 4
  • Waves: 5, ending with the Tide Titan
  • Tokens: 65 a clear, +15 if nobody dies
  • Leviathan gear: 1 in 20 per Titan kill, guaranteed at 40, or upgrade a Tidecaller piece
  • Gear: Tidebreak < Tidecaller < Leviathan, all above Tidal
  • Achievements: 5, plus the quest Tides Of The Trials - see Quests, Achievements & Capes

Rifts

Rifts are randomly built dungeons you clear for gear, materials and Rifting XP. Fill the progress bar by killing monsters, kill the Soulrift Guardian that appears, and take its loot. Soulstone Rifts are the timed, tiered version: beat the clock to climb higher and get on the weekly boards. Rifting (the skill that replaced Dungeoneering) levels from both. Everyone starts Rifting fresh at level 1: old Dungeoneering levels and tokens were reset.

Getting started

  • Talk to the Soul Keeper at Varrock (3222, 3483) - or click the Rifting skill icon to teleport there - or type ::rift.
  • Pick a difficulty and go. Parties of up to 4 enter together; monsters get tougher and loot is shared per player.
  • The Rifts plugin (sidebar) has everything in three tabs: Rift (start a Soulrift or Soulstone Rift, the boards), Gear (Items, Cube, Powers, Imbue and Gems) and Rifting (capes, settings), plus a HUD with progress, timer and buffs.
  • ::rift help lists every Rift command.

Soulrift difficulties

DifficultyRifting level
Normal1
Hard15
Abyss 140
Abyss 250
Abyss 360
Abyss 470
Abyss 580
Abyss 690

Higher difficulties mean stronger monsters, better gear tiers, more Soul Shards and better legendary chances. Each Rift draws its monsters from one family (Demons, Dragons, the Jal horde and more). On Normal you can start a new Soulrift straight from the clear.

Monsters, elites and obelisks

  • Elites glow gold and carry affixes (Scorching, Frostbound, Spellwoven, Snaring, Undertow, Blighted, Spiteful, Warded, Blinking, Binding, Bombarding, Stormcalling, Berserk, Vengeful, Bloodlinked, Swarming) - watch for their telegraphed hazards. From Soulstone tier 50 the Guardian has affixes too: 1 from tier 50, 2 from tier 70, 3 from tier 90, shown on the boss bar. Its first affix always comes from a Guardian-only pool: Soulrend, Summoner, Undying, Soul Siphon, Cataclysm or Mirror Image. Elites and Guardians carry their affixes in their names and over their heads.
  • The Guardian's slam: every 15 seconds it marks the ground around everyone near it and slams 4 ticks later. Prayer doesn't stop it - step out of the marked tiles. It hits for a share of your own max life: 30% at tier 1, up to 65% at tier 100.
  • Every Rift has 1-3 obelisks. Click one (or walk next to it) for a 30-second buff: Might (+100% damage), Haste (move faster), Sanctuary (immune), Storm (lightning strikes nearby monsters), Surge (free specials), Abundance (+25% progress), Fury (attack every 2 ticks).

Soulstone Rifts

  • Open at Rifting 25. Each run costs a Soulstone Key: buy one for 2B coins from the Soul Keeper, or earn one from every Soulrift Guardian you kill. Each run has a 15-minute timer.
  • Tier 1 plays like Normal, tier 4 like Hard and tier 20 like Abyss 6; past 20 it keeps getting harder up to tier 100. Higher tiers need more Rifting (tier 20 needs 90). From tier 50 two monster families mix in every pack, and three from tier 80.
  • Kill the Guardian in time to unlock the next tiers: +1, +2 with 5+ minutes left, +3 with 10+ minutes left. Late clears still pay Shards and half XP, but no unlocks, gem upgrade rolls or board entry.
  • In-time clears drop gear from the tier's pool (the Guardian set included), Soul Sigils from tier 30, Rift Gems from tier 25, gem upgrade rolls, a rare Overload scroll, and sometimes Rift Mystery Boxes (5% + 0.15% a tier).

Rift gear

  • Unidentified gear: all gear drops unidentified - copies of the same piece stack, note and sell on the GE. Right-click Identify, wear it, use the Cube's Identify, talk to "???" (Identify all) or type ::identify all and it rolls its sockets, stat lines and power. Legendary, Exalted and unique Rift drops are announced as the base item ("a Legendary Guardian helm") and reveal their power when identified. The Rifts plugin's Settings (and the Loot plugin) pick whether unidentified gear goes to your inventory or bank.
  • Once identified, every Guardian gear drop has 1-3 sockets and rolled stat lines (1 line at bronze up to 5 at Leviathan): combat levels, style damage, accuracy, defence, crit chance, damage to elites and bosses, damage reduction, life, Thorns, pet stats, or bleed / burn / poison damage. A piece rolls at most one line of each family. Thorns only rolls on armour and shields, and pet lines only on capes and jewellery. Gear levels raise the skill in combat and show on your skills tab (e.g. 145/145).
  • Legendary pieces carry one of 109 legendary powers (39 weapon, 34 armour, 36 jewellery) - thorns, low-life, crit, bleed / burn / poison, pet, obelisk, speed, gem and tidal builds. Values roll in a range that grows with the gear tier.
  • The same power doesn't stack. Wear two copies and only the better one counts: the weaker copy's text turns grey with "Not applying". A copy in your inventory or bank that beats the one you're using shows its power in green.
  • Exalted pieces always out-roll legendaries: their lines start at a normal piece's best roll and reach 50% past it, their powers start at a legendary's best and reach 25% past it, and they get better sockets.
  • Uniques are 23 named items with two powers each (e.g. The Drowned Crown, Bramblehide Carapace, Ring of the Endless Rift).
  • Leap (melee): attack a monster 2-6 tiles away with a melee weapon and you leap beside it instead of walking (8 s cooldown, shown in Timers). The Leap Strike legendary cuts it to 4 s and lands with a shockwave on the target and everything next to it.
  • Bleeds, burns and poison: every hit starts one from your per-tick lines (poison stacks up to 5). Each tick all of yours on a monster land together as one hit, so the splat shows the real total. Plague Heart and Emberheart use your poison / burn per-tick line, so they need one.
  • Burn damage shows as orange hit splats and Thorns damage as purple.
  • Hover any Rift item to see every line, its power and how often it's been rerolled. Rift gear can be traded (trade screen only - not the GE or stakes).
  • All gear can roll stat lines, not just Rift drops: gear from monsters, shops, smithing, crafting, fletching, chests and boxes rolls 1-5 lines by its tier when you identify it (no powers, Exalted pieces or uniques - those are Rift-only). Identified gear trades, drops and alchs like normal gear, but the GE and stakes don't take it (they'd wipe the lines). Plain rolled gear that was already in your bank was turned back into unidentified stacks when this changed.

Rift Gems

  • 27 gems, 3 equipped at once (Rifting 30). They work everywhere except the Boss Rush. Each gem levels up and unlocks a bonus effect at level 25.
  • Gems drop from tier 25+ Soulstone Guardians. Every in-time clear banks 1-4 upgrade rolls (one more with 5, 10 and 12.5 minutes left, and one more when Overcharged). Spend them on any gem in the plugin's Gems tab. A roll uses your best Soulstone Rift cleared: 10+ tiers above the gem's level always passes, 15+ below is a 1% chance.
  • From Rifting 50 the Cube can also Upgrade gem (5 tries a day) or Combine 3 copies of a gem into one level higher.

The Soultide Cube

The first Soulrift Guardian you kill drops the Soultide Cube (lost? reclaim it free in the Cube tab). Materials: Soul Shards, Soul Essence (every elite drops 1-2, more on high tiers; or Convert 500 Shards into one), Soul Remnants (salvaging) and Soul Sigils (Soulstone tier 30+).

  • Empower +1 to +10 (+2% of the item's bonuses and stat lines each; Rifting 40, +6 and up at 80). At +5 and +10 the item's legendary power and its range grow 10% each. +6 to +10 also cost Soul Sigils (3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15).
  • Add socket (up to 3) and Reforge sockets.
  • Enchant one stat line: you get 3 choices - that stat rerolled, or 2 other stats from its family - and keep one. The first Enchant locks the item to that line.
  • Infuse (Rifting 70): a +10 item + a Rift Gem of level 50+ + 5 Soul Sigils adds the gem's level to one combat skill, for good. Replacing an item's Infuse costs 20 Sigils.
  • Rerolls (Enchant, power range, power, sockets) get pricier the more an item is rerolled; from its 10th reroll of a kind they also cost a Soul Sigil, and one more every 5 after.
  • Extract a legendary power into your Power Bank, Imbue a banked power onto another item, Reroll power range or Reroll power. At Rifting 105/110/115 the Cube runs 3 banked powers by itself.
  • Upgrading a banked power: salvage a legendary that has a better roll of it. Your bank keeps the better base roll for good (Exalted rolls count; the Empower boost stays with the item, and uniques never count). The Cube's Salvage shows the rise before you click. Only a power you've already extracted can rise - a new one still needs Extract - and just holding the item does nothing.
  • Ascend a Tidal piece (Rifting 90), Salvage, Salvage all (plain Rift gear) or Salvage all + legendaries (legendaries too, raising your bank as above), and material conversions.

Soul Goblins and the Goblin Hoard

  • Some Rifts hide Soul Goblins. They run when you get close and escape if you're too slow, but stop every few tiles to catch their breath, so melee can catch them too. Each one adds +10% progress. Shard, Coin, Essence and Packrat goblins drop Soul Shards, coins, Cube materials (and a gem chance) or extra Rift gear. At Rifting 60 goblins turn up twice as often.
  • One Soul Goblin in five opens a portal to the Goblin Hoard, and any goblin in the world has a 1 in 1,500 chance. The portal stays open for a minute and anyone can join. Inside are 15-20 goblins (Gem and Key goblins too); once they're gone the Goblin Hoardlord rises. It calls in Coin Goblins at 66% and 33% - each one that escapes heals it.
  • The Hoardlord drops coins, Shards, Soulstone Keys and Essence, the Hoardlord's Heart gem (1 in 6) and the Hoardlord's Signet unique (1 in 12).

The Guardian set

  • Gear tier 13, above Leviathan: helm, body, legs, vambraces, greaves, cape, ward, amulet, ring, reaver (1h sword), bow and sceptre (1h magic). Every piece has its Leviathan piece's stats x1.12. Only in-time Soulstone Rift clears drop it - about 1 gear drop in 8.
  • Every piece rolls Rift lines at the top range; sockets are a chance (the Cube can add them).
  • Set bonuses: 2 pieces +20 Attack/Strength/Defence/Ranged/Magic levels; 4 +10% damage and 10% less damage taken; 6 another +15% damage and every legendary power 20% stronger.

Capes, pets and Rift Points

  • Rifting cape (99, +5% Soul Shards) and Rifting master cape (120, +10%) - buy them in the plugin's Rifting tab. At 120 you can switch on Overcharged Soulstone Rifts: each run costs 250M coins and 5 Soul Sigils more, every gear piece that drops rolls its lines in the top half of the range, and an in-time clear banks one more gem upgrade roll.
  • Pets: the Soul goblin (Soul Goblins, 1 in 1,000), the Guardian wisp (any Guardian, 1 in 2,500) and the Soulstone shade (in-time Soulstone tier 50+, 1 in 1,500).
  • Rift Points: Rifting's constellation figure, The Torch, is bought with its own 60 points earned from Rift clears (a Soulrift 0.1-0.24 of a point, an in-time Soulstone Rift 0.25-0.5). Its stars give Soul Shards, damage in Rifts, faster progress (Rift Hunter), longer obelisks (Obelisk Keeper) and a mastery: Guardian's Bane (+25% damage to Guardians) or Gemwright (+15% gem upgrade chance, cheaper Cube recipes).
  • The Riftwalker aura: a rare drop from in-time Soulstone Guardians (1 in 1,000 at tier 1, 1 in 300 at tier 100) - wear it from the Wardrobe.
  • The plugin's Items tab lists every Rift item you own with all its rolls. Settings picks which Rift gear to keep (all, legendary and better, or only Exalted pieces and uniques - the rest turns into Soul Remnants and Shards as it drops, and a salvaged legendary with a better roll raises your banked power) and how much Rift chat you see. The Loot plugin's Unidentified gear options pick what it loots and where it goes (the same inventory / bank setting as the Rifts plugin).
  • Achievements: Rifts have 47 achievements and 9 quests, from your first Soulrift to Soulstone tier 100 - see Quests, Achievements & Capes.
  • The Collection Log plugin tracks the Guardian set, uniques, gems, Rift pets and the Goblin Hoard, with a reward for each finished log.

"???" and the Rift Dust shop

  • A shadow called "???" stands beside the Soul Keeper. Talk to it to identify all the gear in your inventory, or to buy a random Tidal piece with a random legendary power: a weapon for 50B, armour for 40B or jewellery for 60B.
  • Its Trade option is the Rift Dust shop: spend the Rift Dust from Rift Mystery Boxes on Soul Shards, Essence, gem upgrade rolls, Overload scrolls and the box's own tokens (see Mystery Boxes).

Boards

  • Weekly solo and party boards rank in-time Soulstone clears by highest tier, then fastest time. They reset Monday 00:00 UTC. All-time records are kept too, and a new record is announced to the whole server.
  • The top 3 of each weekly board win Soul Sigils (50 / 30 / 20) and the Riftwalker title (::rift title).
  • See them in the plugin's Rift tab and in Discord's #soulstone-rifts.

Soulforge Guild

The Soulforge Guild is a relaxed skilling minigame. Take a contract, work through three rooms, and earn Soulforge Shards to spend on scrolls, cosmetics and the Soulforged Overload. There are no timers, so you can go AFK whenever you like.

Getting there

  • Type ::guild to go to the Guild hall. The portal in the hub (or ::home) takes you back.
  • You go in with an empty inventory - only your Soulforge Shards come with you. Banking, trading and Quick Sell are blocked inside, and leaving takes everything except your shards. Rewards you get while inside (a box you open, for example) go to your bank.
  • Each room hands you the tools you need, picked by your skill level.

Contracts

  • Talk to the Guildmaster in the hub and pick a short, medium or long contract. You get three random rooms, each with one clear target.
  • Progress counts every experience drop in that room's skill.
  • Don't like your rooms? Refresh the contract for half a room's shards; the new one starts from room one.
  • The Instances plugin's Minigames tab and an on-screen box track your contract while you're inside.

The rooms

GroveChop logs, light fires or fletch
AlleySteal from the stalls or run an agility lap
ApothecaryHerblore: pick, clean and mix
WorkshopCut gems, spin flax or craft leather
Forge (bonus)Mine and smelt, or mine essence and craft runes
  • Axes and pickaxes match your level, all the way up to crystal at level 71. They're loaners and stay in the Guild.
  • Tool tables hand out fishing gear, herbs, chisels and leather to suit your level.
  • Everything you gather comes out noted, and inside the Guild you can process straight from the notes.
  • After room three you can take a bonus trip to the Forge. It pays 1.5x a normal room, and the Guildmaster buys your Forge ores and bars for extra shards (1 for an ore, 3 or more for a bar). For runes, mine the essence rocks beside the altar (pure essence from Mining 17) or take essence from the crate.

Shards

  • Rooms pay 40, 65 or 95 shards for a short, medium or long contract, and more the higher your level.
  • One skill is featured every day and pays 25% more.
  • Sometimes a bonus roll doubles a room - up to about 1 in 10 at level 99.
  • Finish the whole contract for another 25% on top.

The shop takes shards from your bank too. The Guildmaster also sells cosmetics: the Artisan title (3,000 shards), the Ember name colour (5,000) and the Soulforged title (8,000).

The Soulforged Overload

  • Use a Soulforge Catalyst on an Overload scroll to make a Soulforged Overload.
  • It holds your Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged and Magic at 200. Each use lasts 24 hours of play, and you can stack up to 7 days.
  • Catalysts also come from Rift Mystery Boxes and the Rift Dust shop.

Quick facts

  • Start: ::guild, then the Guildmaster
  • Contracts: 3 random rooms, short / medium / long

  • Achievements: 9, plus the quests The Soulforge Apprentice and Soulforged
  • Top prize: the Soulforged Overload (Catalyst 11,250 shards)

Aurelian Isle

Aurelian Isle is the donator island. It has two halves: the Atrium for skilling, and the Treasury, home of the golden dragon Aurex. Any donator rank can visit - type ::isle.

The Atrium

  • Trees from normal to magic, a quarry from copper to rune with essence, a pier with five fishing spots, a furnace, anvils, ranges, a runecrafting altar, a flax field with spinning wheels, and a bank.
  • No tools needed: you get the best axe and pickaxe for your level (a better one you carry still counts), and fishing needs no bait.
  • Skilling anywhere in the Atrium pays bonus XP: 5% at Donator, 2% more for each rank, up to 25% at Sovereign.
  • From Legendary rank everything you gather comes out noted; from Divine it's noted and doubled.
  • The DPS lab has three training dummies - no defence, medium and boss defence. They never die and never hit back. Hit one and a damage meter pops up; ::dps gives a summary and ::dps reset starts again.

Hourly events

Every hour on the hour there's an event, with a warning five minutes before.

  • Golden Bloom (even hours): for 10 minutes the whole Atrium is noted and doubled for every rank, and the zone XP bonus doubles.
  • Treasury Breach (odd hours): a Shade of Aurex appears in the plaza. Everyone who lands a hit gets Aurum, with a chance of a sigil and a rare pet.

  • Deal a decent chunk of damage to earn a share of the loot.
  • Every kill gives Aurum and a chance of Aurex sigils, more at higher tiers.
  • For your first 50 kills each day, Aurex can also drop Rift Mystery Boxes, and rarely a Gleaming or Radiant Rift Box.
  • Rare drops: the Treasury pickaxe and axe (they bank 10-26% of what you gather, by tier), the Golden prospector outfit (extra Atrium XP), and from tier III the Aurex maul and the Sigil ward. The Gilded wyrmling pet can drop at every tier.

How it works

  • Pick a tab and a log to see every entry as a card: found ones light up, missing ones stay dark.
  • When a log is complete, press Claim for its reward. Each reward can be claimed once.
  • Finishing logs also counts for achievements (1, 5 and every log) and the quest The Collector - see Quests, Achievements & Capes.
  • Your history counts: the first time you log in, the log fills in from what you've already found and what you own.

Quests & Achievements

Every quest and achievement lives in the Quest & Achievement Web sidebar plugin: what each one needs, your progress, and a Claim button for its reward. There are 306 achievements and 41 quests.

Rewards

CompletedCoins
Easy achievement5,000
Medium achievement25,000
Hard achievement150,000
Elite achievement750,000
Quest250,000

Every 7 achievements also earn a Soul Point for the Soul Constellation. A quest is a checklist of achievements and skill levels: it finishes the moment every step is done, in any order.

The Max, Veteran and Completionist capes

  • Max cape: 50M coins once you have the Maxed loyalty title. Veteran cape: 100 Prestige points.
  • Completionist cape: 100M coins once you have completed 250 achievements and 25 quests (not every one). It gives +18 to every attack bonus, +25 to every defence bonus, +20 melee and ranged strength, +15% magic damage, +20 prayer, +20% drop rate and +10% double drops.
  • Account-bound: once you have bought one, its bonuses count on your account for good, worn or not, and all three stack. Wearing one doesn't count it twice, so your cape slot is free. Capes you already own unlock when you log in. Not in the Boss Rush or while transformed.
  • All three are untradeable.

New achievements

78 achievements for Rifts, the Goblin Hoard, the Soultide Cube, Rift Gems, the Soulforge Guild, Aurelian Isle, Rift Mystery Boxes, the Collection Log and the Tidebreak Trials. Anything you had already done is ticked off when you log in.

Controller

Play Soultide with a game controller: Xbox, PlayStation 4/5, Switch Pro, 8BitDo and Steam Deck controllers all work, wired or wireless. Plug one in and touch it - no setup needed. The Controller tab in the sidebar shows your controller, tests every button and holds the settings and your hotkeys.

Mouse and controller together

  • The controller moves your real cursor: everything works exactly as with a mouse - the game, menus, the sidebar and plugin windows.
  • Seamless switching: touch the controller and it carries on from wherever your cursor is; move the mouse and it hands straight back. Your keyboard always works.
  • It only acts while the Soultide window is focused, so it never moves your mouse in other programs.

Your own hotkeys

  • Press Edit hotkeys... in the Controller tab. Map any button, LT or RT - press it on the controller, or pick it from a list.
  • Hold LT or RT in front for a second layer, and give a button a double-tap or hold action too.
  • Actions: clicks, back, tabs, zoom, precision cursor, navigate, targets, eat, special attack, run, protection prayers, open a tab, the teleport menu, press a key, run a command, use an inventory slot, the on-screen keyboard, switch window and next profile.
  • Profiles - one for PvM, one for skilling... Hotkeys are saved with your account, so they follow you to any computer.
  • One press is one action - no macros.

Helpers

  • Snap: let go of the stick near a monster or person and the cursor eases onto it (can be turned off).
  • Rumble when you're hit, a pulse when your life is low, and a big one for rare drops. Strength and the low-life % are in Settings.
  • On-screen keyboard: opens by itself when the game asks for a name, a search or a message, and a number pad (with k and m) for amounts. Hold View / Create to type in chat. A types, B deletes, X is space, Y is shift, Start is enter.
  • A hint under an open right-click menu shows which buttons pick and close.

Steam Deck, Steam and Mac

  • Steam Deck / Steam: turn Steam Input off for Soultide (Properties - Controller - Disable Steam Input), or Steam turns the controller into a mouse and keyboard of its own and the two fight.
  • Mac: allow Soultide (or Java) under System Settings - Privacy & Security - Accessibility so the controller can move the pointer. The HD plugin's GPU renderer isn't available on Mac.

Beastmastery & the Hatchery

Beastmastery is a side skill all about your boss pets. You train it by doing things with a pet out, and every pet has its own bond level (1-10) that makes its perks stronger. It doesn't count toward max, completionist or veteran capes, so level it for fun and for the perks!

Getting started

  1. Summon any boss pet.
  2. Click Beastmastery in your Skills tab to teleport to the Pet Master (at home, next to the shops).
  3. Talk-to him for pet tasks, or Trade for the Pet Token shop.
  4. Pick up a Pet whistle and a Grooming brush there.

How to train (your pet must be out)

  • Kill monsters: XP and bond XP every kill, and bosses count triple.
  • Treats: use cooked food on any bones to make them, then Feed:
    • Kibble (Cooking 1 / Beastmastery 1): shrimps, anchovies, sardine, herring, chicken, meat, bread
    • Meaty chew (40 / 20): trout, salmon, tuna, bass, lobster, swordfish
    • Shark snack (76 / 45): monkfish, shark, sea turtle, cavefish
    • Dragon jerky (90 / 70): manta ray, rocktail
    • Celestial treat (99 / 105): rocktail on dragon, frost dragon, ourg or dagannoth bones
  • Grooming brush: groom up to 20 times a day.
  • Pet essence: a rare boss drop, also found while foraging. Your pet absorbs it over 30 seconds for a big burst of bond XP.
  • Pet Master tasks: kill a set number of monsters with a pet out for Pet Tokens and XP. Elite boss tasks start at level 105.

Unlocks

  • 15 Forage: your pet digs up coins, herbs, seeds and charms while you fight or skill.
  • 30 Lucky Paws: a chance at an extra drop-table roll, higher with bond.
  • 45 Pet abilities: Pet whistle → Command (or ::petability), 60 second cooldown:
    • Breath (dragons, wyrms, Zulrah, Vorki...): a burst of damage
    • Mend (Zilyana, Phoenix...): heals you
    • Pounce (Corp, Kalphite Queen, Cerberus, Nex...): stuns your target
    • Guard (Graardor, Rex, Bork...): 25% less damage taken for 10s
    • Frenzy (everyone else): 15% more damage for 10s
  • 60 & 110 Perk slots: a resting pet's perks apply at half strength (set them at the Pet Master).
  • 75 Evolution stone: evolve a bond-10 pet (+25% perks).
  • 90 Combat pets: your pets run in and fight beside you for up to ~20% of your max hit, with blue hitsplats!
  • 99 Beastmaster cape: all your pets count as one bond level higher while you wear it, plus a small extra chance at boss pets.
  • 105: Elite pet tasks and Celestial treats.
  • 115 Dual summon: summon a second pet. It gets half its perks, or full with the Pack Leader mastery. Pick up your primary and the second one takes over.
  • 120 Apex stone (+50% perks) and the Apex beastmaster cape (abilities recharge 25% faster).
  • 121-150 (Soul Constellation levels): +1% to everything per level.

Pet perks & bond

Each pet's perk depends on how tough its boss is: +2% to +5% drop rate, plus up to +3% XP for the biggest bosses. The Tidewyrm and AFK Cat have their own special perks.

Perks grow +5% per bond level (+45% at bond 10), and +25% / +50% once evolved / apex.

Check yours anytime in the Pets plugin (sidebar) or with Pet whistle → Check.

The Kennel: why bond with every pet

Pets that aren't out still help while they rest:

  • Resting perks: 5% of their drop-rate and XP perk at bond 5, 10% at bond 10, 15% evolved and 20% apex (capped at +15% drop rate and +10% XP).
  • Pack Tactics: +1% pet damage for every pet at bond 10 (up to +25%).
  • Collection log: Pet Master → Bonds & collection log pays Pet Tokens when you have 5, 10, 20, 35 and then every pet at bond 5.

Looks & names

  • Evolution / Apex stones and collars (Gilded, Shadow, Crimson, Frost, Emerald, Void) unlock looks in Wardrobe → Combat pets.
    • Preview: see it on your pets (only you see it)
    • Primary: the pet in your Summoning slot
    • Secondary: your dual-summon pet
  • Pet name tag: give your pet a name, shown above its head.

The Hound (Soul Constellation)

Beastmastery has its own figure in the Support quadrant, bought with Pet Points: 1 per 2 Beastmastery levels, 60 at level 120, which is enough for the whole figure. They're separate from your 100 Soul Points, and its mastery (Pack Leader or Alpha Bond) doesn't use one of your 2 mastery slots.

The Hatchery: buy pet eggs with coins

Open the Hatchery plugin to buy a pet egg with coins. Every boss pet except the Tidewyrm is in exactly one egg, sorted by how tough its boss is, and each egg hatches one pet with its own animation.

EggPriceBeastmastery
Speckled10M1
Mossy30M30
Frostshell75M60
Voidscale175M90
Sunforged400M120
  • Within an egg, pets from weaker bosses are more common. The AFK Cat is one of the rarest Sunforged hatches.
  • Every egg gives a little Beastmastery XP, but eggs never buy levels.
  • Only Sunforged hatches are announced to the server.
  • Hatched a pet you already have? Keep it, or sell the spare straight away for bond XP.

Pet tasks and duplicates

  • Type ::pettask for an instanced pet task, like a Slayer instance: waves of your task monster to clear with your pet out. Your task, kills left, token reward and streak show in the Pets plugin and your player panel.
  • Every 5th task in a row pays a streak bonus. Cancelling a task resets your streak.
  • Your pet has to stay out. You can't pick up or dismiss it inside a pet task.
  • Duplicate pets: use a spare pet on the Pet Master, or pick Trade in duplicate pets. You keep one of each and the spares pay bond XP.
  • ::petmaster takes you to the Pet Master. ::toggleforage stops (or restarts) your pets foraging.

Tips

  • Keep a pet out whenever you kill or skill. It's free XP.
  • Bosses give triple XP and bond.
  • Elite tasks from 105 are the fastest late-game XP.
  • Spread your bond across many pets for the Kennel and Pack Tactics.

Questions or ideas? Ask in #support or post in #suggestions on the Discord!

Quick facts

  • Train: kill or skill with a pet out; bosses count triple
  • Pet Master: at home, or ::petmaster
  • Big unlocks: 45 abilities, 90 combat pets, 115 dual summon, 120 apex
  • Hatchery: 5 coin eggs, 10M-400M
  • Side skill: doesn't count toward max, completionist or veteran capes

The Loot Plugin

The Loot plugin is the sack icon in your sidebar. It controls what you see on the ground and what auto loot picks up. It has 5 tabs: Auto Loot · Rules · Display · Presets · Saved.

Set it up in 30 seconds

  1. Open Loot → Presets and press Add under Boss hunter.
  2. Go kill something. Drops worth 1M+ now glow with a loot beam and alert you. Junk under 5K is hidden.
  3. Want it different? Everything can be changed on the Rules and Display tabs (see below).

Auto Loot tab

  • Toggle Auto Loot turns it on or off.
  • Send looted items to my bank: drops skip your inventory.
  • Pick up items as notes: drops arrive noted so they stack.
  • Always loot socketed items: on means every socketed drop is picked up. Off means they follow your other settings.
  • Always loot drops worth at least: e.g. 250k or 1m.
  • Item type tick boxes: below that value, only the ticked types are looted (bones, herbs, runes...).
  • Unidentified gear: gear drops unidentified (its stat lines roll when you identify it). Always loot it, or let it follow your item types; and send it to your inventory or bank - the same setting as the Rifts plugin's Settings.

Your Rules are checked before all of this.

Rules tab: your own loot filter

Press + Add rule and fill in two parts.

1. Match items where...

  • Name: use * as a wildcard and commas for several, e.g. dragon bones, *nightmare*, abyssal whip
  • Item ids (optional)
  • Value from / up to: the total value of the drop, e.g. 10k, 1m, 1.5b
  • Item type, Socketed, Rare drop: these only affect auto loot, not ground labels

2. Then...

  • Auto loot: don't change it / to inventory / to bank / as notes / never auto loot
  • Highlight: click the colour box to pick any colour
  • Loot beam: same colour as the highlight, or its own
  • Alert: chat message, sound, and/or a pop-up at the top of your screen
  • Hide these drops instead

Order matters! Rules are checked top to bottom, and the first rule that matches wins. Use ▲▼ to reorder them, and click a rule to edit or delete it.

Share your setup: Export copies all your rules, and a friend presses Import to add them.

Example rules

  • Name: *bones → Auto loot to bank
  • Value from: 5m → Highlight pink + beam + pop-up alert
  • Value up to: 2k → Hide
  • Name: coins → Highlight yellow

Display tab

  • Show item names / Show value on the ground, plus label size.
  • Value basis: Shop value or High alch value. Labels, colours, rule value ranges and auto loot all use the one you pick.
  • Value colours: Low / Medium / High / Insane. Click a colour to change it, and type a new starting value (e.g. 50k) to move a tier. Drops that no rule matches use these.
  • Hide drops worth less than: e.g. 10k for a clean screen.
  • Hidden drops: pick how they hide:
    • Hide the label only: the item is still there and you can still take it
    • Label + right-click Take: you can't accidentally pick it up
    • Everything: the item isn't drawn on the ground at all
  • Loot beams: beams on High and Insane drops, in the value colour or one colour of your choice. Height and opacity sliders too.

⭐ Presets tab

One-click starting points that add rules to the end of your list:

  • Boss hunter: 1M+ drops glow, beam and alert; junk under 5K hidden
  • Supplies to bank: bones, herbs and seeds auto loot straight to your bank
  • Socketed drops: always auto loot socketed items
  • Clean screen: hides labels for drops under 10K
  • Reset everything: back to default (your Saved filters are kept)

Saved tab: switch setups in one click

  1. Set up your rules and Display settings the way you like.
  2. Saved → Save current filter... and give it a name, e.g. Bossing.
  3. Make another setup, e.g. Skilling, and save that too.
  4. Press Load on any saved filter to switch to it. Rename and Delete are there too.

You can keep up to 20. Tip: save your current setup before loading another, because Load replaces it.

Good to know

  • Your auto loot rules are saved on your account, so they work on any PC you log in on. Colours, beams, alerts and Saved filters are saved on your PC.
  • Item type / Socketed / Rare rule conditions only change auto loot. They don't change ground labels.
  • Alerts only fire once per drop, so no spam if you walk away and come back.
  • Stuck? Open Presets → Reset everything and start fresh.

Questions or ideas for the plugin? Ask in #support or post in #suggestions on the Discord!

Soul Constellation

The Soul Constellation is a permanent, account-wide skill tree you fill with Soul Points earned by playing. Open it from the Soul Constellation sidebar tab with Open Constellation Map. Every skill's stars form a figure of that skill, like a sword for Attack, a heart for Constitution or a pickaxe for Mining, spread across four quadrants of the sky: Combat, Artisan, Gathering and Support & Ancient. There is no quadrant lock, so you can spend points anywhere.

The stars

  • Trail stars (1 SP) lead from the centre of the map out to each figure.
  • Outline stars (1 SP) trace the figure. Some give +1 to that skill's level; others give a little XP, resource yield or material savings.
  • Notables (2 SP, bright stars) sit on a figure's key points. Each has its own effect that only helps that skill.
  • Mastery pair (3 SP, the two ringed stars at the figure's heart): pick one of the two.

The lines between stars are just for looks, so you can unlock stars in any order.

Completing figures

Every figure has a completion bonus that grows as you fill it in. Masteries never count toward it.

  • Tier 1 at a third of the figure's stars, tier 2 at two thirds, tier 3 when every star is unlocked.
  • Connected: also unlock the figure's whole trail back to the centre for its biggest bonus. The trail lights up when you do.

A figure takes about 50-53 Soul Points to complete, or 55-59 connected. With a maximum of 100 points you can't finish everything: most builds go deep on one connected figure and part-fill a second, or spread tier 1 and 2 bonuses across several.

Levels up to 150

Every skill has exactly 30 level stars (all of its trail stars plus about half its outline stars), so every skill, Constitution, Prayer and Summoning included, can go from 120 up to 150. Bonus levels count like real ones for requirements, and most levels above 120 still do something extra:

SkillEach level above 120
Attack, Strength, Defence, RangedKeeps raising accuracy, max hit and defence as normal

Magic+0.5% spell damage, plus accuracy

Earning Soul Points

You start with 1 point and can earn up to 100 from normal play. The sidebar tab shows how many you have from each source:

  • Total level: 1 point per 100 total levels, up to 30
  • Boss kills: 1 point per 100 boss kills over your account's lifetime, up to 25
  • Achievements: 1 point per 7 achievements completed, up to 25
  • Soul Fragments: a rare find while training any non-combat skill, worth 1 point each, up to 19

The Torch and Rift Points

Dungeoneering became Rifting, and its figure, The Torch, is now bought with its own Rift Points (up to 60) instead of Soul Points. You earn them from Rift clears: a Soulrift gives 0.1-0.24 of a point and an in-time Soulstone Rift 0.25-0.5. Its mastery needs Rift Points spent on its stars first, and it doesn't count toward your two-mastery limit. Any Soul Points you had spent on the old Dungeoneering stars came back to you. See the Rifts guide.

Masteries

You can hold two masteries, in any skills. Your first unlocks once you have spent 40 points on other stars and runs at 50% power. Your second needs 70 points spent and runs at 100% power.

Your bonuses

The sidebar tab lists everything your constellation gives you: stats from many stars are added together (for example "+12 Attack levels"), followed by your notables, masteries and figure tiers. Hover over any star on the map to see its figure's progress and when the next tier unlocks.

Changing your mind

The Respec button on the map refunds every point, masteries included, so you can rebuild at any time.

Quick facts

  • 27 figures, one per skill
  • Soul Points: start at 1, up to 100
  • Figure tiers at 1/3, 2/3 and all stars, plus connected
  • Masteries: max 2 (50% and 100% power)
  • Respec: full refund, any time
  • Remote ::attune unlocks at 120 Transformation

Soultide Pass

The Soultide Pass is a 30-day subscription that sits alongside donator ranks. Get it from the store (::store) and collect it with ::claim. Buy 30, 60 or 90 days (the longer packs cost less per month), and you can stack up to 180 days. Like any store purchase, the money still counts toward your donator rank and gives Donation Points. Type ::pass in game to see your days left.

What you get

  • +10% XP and +5% drop rate, on top of your donator rank.
  • Boss drops go straight to your bank when there's room.
  • A daily Pass roll at the home chest. The treasure chest at home gives you 2M coins, 100 noted sharks, 20 noted super restores, 20 noted Saradomin brews, 2 crystal keys, a free Dragon Hoard loot box roll, and a 5% chance of a $5 bond (1% for a $10 bond). If you're also a donator, you still get your donator loot from the same chest.
  • The daily code (see below).
  • A monthly Pass exclusive: a Wardrobe title or name colour you keep forever, different each month (Tidebound, Tidegold, Soulwarden, Abyssal, ...). It can't be bought any other way.
  • A gold [Pass] tag on your yells, and the Soultide Pass role on the Discord with access to the subscribers-only channels.

The daily code

Every day at 17:00 UTC the Discord bot posts a new code in #pass-daily (you need to link your account with ::link to see it). Redeem it in game with ::daily <code>, once per day. The code works until the next one drops. Each day's reward is one of these, picked at random:

RewardChance
10 Crystal keys + 5 Bounty keys34%
A free Soultide Grand Coffer roll (or, one day in three, a Golden Soul Crate)34%
A $5 Donator Bond11%
2 Rift Mystery Boxes10%
A $10 Donator Bond6%
6 Rift Mystery Boxes3%
A $25 Donator Bond2%

Commands

  • ::pass shows whether your Pass is active, your days left and your perks.
  • ::daily <code> redeems today's code from #pass-daily.
  • ::store buys the Pass, and ::claim collects it.

Tide Season

The Tide Season is a free battle pass that runs for one calendar month (UTC). Everyone is on it automatically. Finish challenges to earn Season XP, and every 1,000 Season XP unlocks the next of 30 tiers. Each tier has a Free reward for everyone and a Pass reward for Soultide Pass holders. When the month ends, your progress resets and a new season begins.

Earning Season XP

Season XP only comes from challenges, so there is nothing to AFK. You get 3 daily challenges (new ones at 00:00 UTC) and 5 weekly challenges (new ones every Monday at 00:00 UTC), picked at random. Dailies are worth 200-250 Season XP and weeklies 1,000-1,500. Challenges include:

  • Killing monsters, killing bosses, and Instance Arena kills
  • Completing Bounty Hunter targets and Slayer tasks
  • Clue scrolls and helping defeat the world boss (weekly)
  • Gaining XP overall, or in Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing or Thieving

Claiming rewards

Open the Season tab in the client sidebar (the wave icon) to see your tier, your challenges and every reward, and click Claim or Claim all. You can also type ::season claim. Pass rewards can be claimed any time during the month while your Pass is active, so if you buy the Pass partway through, you can still claim the Pass rewards for every tier you have already reached. After tier 30, every extra 1,000 Season XP earns a repeatable bonus reward. Unclaimed rewards are lost when the season ends.

You can check your progress on the website too: sign in on the Account page and open the Tide Season tab.

Wardrobe

The Wardrobe is Soultide's cosmetics store. Everything in it is cosmetic only: nothing changes your stats, drops or damage, and nothing can be traded or sold. It's a tab on the sidebar (the coat hanger icon) that opens a full window with a live preview, and you can also type ::wardrobe.

The new Wardrobe

The Wardrobe has been rebuilt with all-new looks: 20 of each kind, plus 19 new server boosts. Everything the old store sold in the redone categories (name colours, transformation skins, weapon glows, auras, drop flair, wings and armour looks) was retired, and anyone who owned one got its price back as Donation Points automatically at login. Titles, pets, and anything earned from minigames, raids, the Pass, seasons, votes or events stay.

How it works

  • Items cost Donation Points. The donation store (::store) gives 1 point per $1, plus bonus points on bigger packs: +10% from $25, +15% from $50 and +20% from $100. Collect purchases with ::claim, which also runs automatically when you log in.
  • Preview anything before you buy. Buying asks you to confirm first. After that the item is yours for good: press Wear or Take off at any time, for free.
  • You can wear one item from each category at a time.
  • Spending points never lowers your donated total, so your donator rank is safe.

Trading on the GE from Discord

Every buy, sell, cancel and collect has a Confirm button, and anything worth more than 500K asks you a second time. Each character can do 10 of these a day (resets at midnight UTC). If you're logged in, it happens instantly. If you're logged out, buy, sell and collect are queued and happen the moment you next log in, and the bot DMs you how it went. You also get a DM when one of your offers finishes. Allow DMs from server members to receive them.

In-game commands for Discord

  • ::discord - opens the Discord invite.
  • ::link / ::unlink - link or unlink your Discord account.
  • ::geprivacy show / anonymous / hidden - your GE feed privacy (same as /ge privacy). Type it on its own to see your current setting.
  • ::presence on / off - Discord status (see below).
  • ::bug your report - report a bug; it opens a thread in #bug-reports.
  • ::event - teleport to the current world boss.

The daily event vote

Every day at 12:00 UTC a poll goes up in #events. Linked players vote with buttons until 19:00 UTC, and you can change your vote. The winner runs for an hour from 20:00 UTC, then switches itself off:

  • Double XP hour
  • Double Drops hour
  • World boss - rises in the World Boss Arena and is posted in #world-boss; everyone who helps is rewarded (see the World Boss Events guide)
  • Loot box discount - 25% off every loot box, in-game and on the account portal

Discord status (Rich Presence)

Type ::presence on and your Discord profile shows what you're doing in Soultide: where you are, your Wilderness level or transformation, your levels and how long you've been playing, with Play Soultide and Guides buttons for anyone who views your profile. It's off until you turn it on, and it needs the Discord desktop app open on the same Windows PC. ::presence off or logging out clears it.

Giveaways and FAQ

Pick the Giveaways role in #roles to be pinged for every giveaway (one every 12 hours). The #faq channel is a forum with one thread per common question, kept up to date by the bot.

Weapon & Armor Stats

Runewords

Gear can roll sockets. Put runes into them in the right order and you complete a Runeword: one of 41 named combinations, each giving that one item a permanent bonus. Low-level words add stats; the higher ones add damage %, drop rate, double drops, XP or prayer drain, and at the top of the Runic skill they become real on-hit procs.

Getting sockets

  • Socketable gear can roll 1 to 3 sockets when it drops from a monster or when you smith it.
  • The Runic chisel carves a socket yourself. Each use is one attempt and the chisel is always used up:
    Sockets nowCarve oneNothingLose a socket
    060%40%0%
    135%40%25%
    210%40%50%
Losing a socket loses the rune in it and breaks any Runeword it completed. A carve that could lose one asks you to use it again to confirm.
  • Where chisels come from: make one at the Essence altar at home (Runic 50: a chisel, 100 Blood runes and 100 Death runes), buy them in the Slayer and Voting stores, or get one as a rare drop (about 1 in 150) from any boss.
  • Perfect runic chisel (Runic 120): use 100 Runic chisels on the Essence altar to make one. Use it on any socketable item and pick 1, 2 or 3 sockets; the item gets exactly that many. Each use has a 50% chance to break the chisel.
  • Hundreds of items can hold sockets: top-tier weapons (Twisted bow, Scythe, Kodai, rapiers, nightmare staves...), blowpipes, Nex, Vesta, Statius, Zuriel and Morrigan gear, Serpentine helms, gloves, rings, amulets, the Fire cape, Ava's devices, the Max, Completionist, Veteran and Tidal capes, and more. The /item command on Discord tells you if an item can.

Filling sockets

  • Use a rune on the socketed item to put it in the next empty socket. The rune is used up.
  • Runes must go in in the order listed; the wrong order doesn't match.
  • A 3-socket item can run a 1- or 2-rune Runeword with its other sockets empty.
  • A Runeword below your Runic level stays dormant until your level catches up.
  • Rune Resonance: full sockets that don't make a Runeword still give each rune's own bonus at 70%.
  • Changed your mind? Use a hammer on the item (and confirm twice) to smash its sockets and make it plain again.

Training Runic

Use runes on the Essence altar at home, or pick Inscribe runes from its menu, and they're bound into the stone 10 at a time until you run out. Each rune needs a Runic level equal to its Runecrafting level; XP per rune is 3 × (40 + 2 × that level): Air 126, Nature 384, Blood 570.

Socketed items

  • Socketed items are account-bound: they can't be traded.
  • Identical socketed items (same item, same runes) stack in your bank.
  • They sell and alch for the plain item's value.
  • Completed Runewords glow in your inventory, and the Runewords plugin lists every combination and which are active on your gear.
